Notice to PTPTN Sponsored Students

Direct deduction of Tuition fees payment from student's bank account

Please be informed that UNITEN has made an arrangement with PTPTN and CIMB for a direct deduction of fees payment from your bank account. A portion of your loan for the semester will be deposited to UNITEN's account, to partly settle the university's fees and debts. Below are the processes involved:

1. PTPTN will deposit the full amount of loan into your bank account.

2. CIMB will then deduct the amount outstanding in student ledger from your bank account. (Tuition Fees only)

3. After 1 & 2 above the balance of loan will be left in your bank account for your use.

Kindly update your bank account book in order to see the detail transactions above.

Two situations will arise from this arrangement as shown below:

Amount received from PTPTN is less than debts. ( i.e : PTPTN < Debts )

The above process is expected to start from July 2010 and student can expect to receive the balance of the PTPTN loan by end of July 2010, subject to further notice of change.

Students are required to pay the balance of accommodation fees for Semester/ Trimester 1, 10/11 that will be invoiced 1 month after registration day. This amount is not deducted from PTPTN Loan.

It is important for you to be aware of your ledger balance and take all the necessary actions to pay any debts due to the University.
