Last Day to get Nomination Form for MPP Election

Dear students,
You have recieved a reminder about MPP election. There was no election last year. We hope there will be one this year. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO TAKE THE NOMINATION FORM.

The nomination form can be obtained from :
(i) Students Affairs Centre, Level 2, Admin Building
(ii) Counter at ground Level, Block BN, COE
(iii) From Puan Mazita, COIT Admin Officer, Level 6, Block BW, COIT.

- The MPP for 2009/2010 session was dismissed on 12 Ogos 2010.

- Nomination Day is on 19 August 2010 (9am - 12 noon) at BA-04-24, level 4, Admin building.

- Election (if any) will be on 25 August 2010

COIT only had on rep last semester. Should have more. So far as of 9am today, only two COIT students took the form. Both from Graphics and Multimedia department.

Please do your part today. If you think your friend is charismatic and can be a leader please persuade him to contest. If you think you can be a leader, get two person to nominate and second you.

What you need to do :

(a) Get the form and fill up carefully - one envellope which consists of :

(1) Checklist of the forms to fill

(2) Statement of proof that the candidate satisfy election requirement and will obey the rules of election
(Orange form - 3 copies). Need to be certified by Dean or any Dean reps. (Any lecturer can do it for you).

(3) Agent nomination form. You can be your own agent. An agent can help the candidate to campaign

(4) Nomination form (green form - 3 copies). There must be at least one nominator and one seconder.

(5) 3 Passport size photographs.

(b) Submit the Nomination form on 19 August at 9am - 12 noon as mentioned above. You need to post a
refundable DEPOSIT of RM20.00. The candidate, nominator and seconder need to be present.
